Pros and Cons of Battery Technologies for use with cameras - Select the right one for you
How to use with other consumer electronics batteries, portable digital camera as a power source. In this article we have different battery technologies, and describe their advantages and disadvantages. With this knowledge we can consider the battery used to purchase your next camera.
A camera usually supports just one type of battery or a battery or a rechargeable battery. The exception is cameras that are powered by standard AA, AAA or similar energyBatteries. In most of these cases, disposable and rechargeable batteries can be used independently.
There are two types of batteries:
Disposable batteries: can be used only once. They usually have a standard size and shape, such as AA, AAA, and so on. You can buy these batteries at most stores and once they are empty, dispose of all (please help the environment clean and safe disposal of batteries in a special container for disposal of batteries).Batteries: can be used multiple times. Some batteries have a standard size and shape, such as AA, AAA, and so on. These standard-size batteries can be anywhere, using a disposable batteries. In most cases, however, does not have a separate rechargeable batteries and are compatible only with a few specific cameras. When a battery is empty, which can be recharged with a special charger, that is. How long does it take toCharging a battery, the number of times it can be recharged and the battery on the battery technology used to build employee.
There are advantages and disadvantages of using disposable batteries or rechargeable batteries. The main advantage of using a battery that you can always buy a couple to have with you to identify those that are empty and you can still shop near where you do not replace one with dead batteries. The disadvantages of using disposable --The batteries are the costs of buying new batteries each time the batteries are empty, the ability (in most cases a disposable battery, is not the time) as a good battery. On the other hand, only need to buy batteries. If the battery is discharged, you can simply get a full charge in the charger and after an hour or so to get a battery. The disadvantage is that when the batteries are not in a photo session or somewhere away from homeor food can not simply buy another battery. The solution to this problem is to buy an extra battery and bring him with you is always fully charged.
If your camera uses standard sized batteries like AA or AAA, you can make use of disposable batteries and rechargeable batteries. You can always lose AA or AAA batteries with the camera, but you can also use a rechargeable AA or AAA batteries and use it as easily.
RechargeableTechnologies:
Several technologies are in a building used rechargeable batteries. Look at the battery itself to find out what was the technique in most cases is located on a small sticker on the battery or written somewhere on the packaging to be used. The following are the most common technologies and some of their advantages and disadvantages:
Nickel-cadmium: one of the older technologies. These batteries are not expensive, can be refilled quickly and often, before losingtheir capacity. On the negative side, they have a low capacity and a "memory effect" - a "memory effect" means that the battery does not charge to full capacity when first being fully discharged. This can be a problem because in most cases you will want to make sure that the battery is completely independent from its current state, before being loaded onto a photo opportunity. Some costs to resolve this problem before discharging the battery and only then paid their fullCapacity.Nickel-metal hybrid technology is an improvement of nickel-cadmium batteries. These capabilities of batteries is much higher, up to 50% more. Although there is still an effect of "memory", is less evident than in nickel-cadmium batteries. The disadvantage of these batteries can be recharged less time before the loss of their ability, and even faster if the discharge is not in use.
Lithium ion: a new technology that solves many of the nickel-technologyProblems. Lithium batteries also have a higher capacity nickel-metal. They have no effect "memory" at all (and thus independent of their status, wherever they may a) full capacity to be recharged. The disadvantage is that they are more expensive than nickel.
Lithium-polymer: the latest technology. These batteries have all the advantages of lithium-ion and much more. Have an even higher capacity and can also be produced easily in anyShape. This allows for a much smaller and more easily formed with high capacity battery, the better to fit the design of the camera.
As a result, when choosing a camera and think about what uses batteries, you should make the choice between disposable and rechargeable batteries. If you use a camera, the batteries, you should try doing a battery with the latest technologies, such as lithium-polymer, or choose to use unless there are particularConsiderations.

Which digital camera is the best in general? Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 fits the bill
In the author's humble opinion, suitable for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 the bill.
There are many, many digital cameras on the market developed, the technology and quickly so that it is very difficult to keep up. Each camera manufacturer is to provide special excellence or functions of any new version of the camera to entice the buyer to a purchase. And how does a camera to the king of the hill and there is absolutely top of the heap camera?
It begins with aReputation. To maintain some manufacturers have been able to do a good reputation for producing excellent cameras. We tend to trust the buyer, a producer, if we had a good experience with them.
Then there's the geek test camera. These cameras are "experts" looking at every new release and a series of standardized tests to compare with other cameras of similar design. These online sites like DPReview.com, StevesDigicams.com and imaging have become Resources.comis known and trusted for their honest opinions and reviews. Producers to send their latest versions of those that have earned a good reputation in the online community camera.
Finally, there are customers - those who buy and actually use the cameras to analyze not necessarily like every pixel on a print made, but the decision if the camera corresponding to individual expectations. These assessments are very useful to make a purchase of the camera.
Before your nextCamera, you have online stores to see if the car had been sold to. Some very useful sites must be reviewed, Amazon.com, B & H Photo and Adorama.com. Enter the name of the camera that interests you, then click on user feedback.
All this leads, as the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 evaluation as "Best Compact Digital Camera Over All". And 'Highly recommended for both imaging and Resources.com DPReview.com, and user ratings (from people who actually paidMoney) for the camera about 4.4 to 5 on both DPReview and Amazon.

10.1 Megapixel Resolution
